Seems over the top for coffee, but I love it!

This has got to be the coolest Starbucks I’ve ever seen. I love this! Kind of reminds me of Miyazaki’s paper spirits.

Mark GFar too good for Starbucks.

A lot of visual noise. Claustrophobic and not relaxing for patrons, a headache waiting to happen for baristas.
Bill SmithThe idea is pretty cool, but they should’ve gone more for a more smooth flowing wood connection like the Metropol Parasol in Seville.

out of control. would not enjoy relaxing there with a cup of coffee.

No doubt that this design has done a great job in attracting much attention from people along the pedestrian mall. However I feel that it is too much effort in trying to achieve that sole purpose. You maybe lucky to have such a sympathetic client in order to realize this type of design.
