Very elegant design; unfortunately, wood is an unsanitary material.

These look beautiful. Maybe I should start writing about product designs!

One problem though. Most counter tops, floors and cabinets…well stuff you find a kitchen…it camos its too well..Most time time I misplace my knife. I don’t have problem of how it look unless it has some function in the design. LOL Wood unsanitary yes…. but I don’t think its all wood. In material science..wood considered to be an anistropic material. As you its cut parallel along the grain…so if its all wood that the cracks will propagate along the lines…it wouldn’t last a day or week at most. From looking at the design I can see that the designer wanted a well balanced knife for cutting. Also ergonomic. And I think in purpose for cutting…its excellent but I might have to place homing beacon on it. LOL./ If one wants to keep the wood I recommend burning unique designs on it to upgrade the wood..I thinks its plastic anyways. :). I suggest asian poetic haiku style the ones with Koi fishes or gangstas lol… since Japanese makes the most efficient swords for cutting. I will definitely invest in redesigning it because it has great potential.. Hats off to you. cheers.

who says it’s wood? could be some type of printed/textured carbon fibre? or glass fibre. at least in production, if not in concept. I like.
