Let’s start a discussion:
What do you think about this work?
Interface designs like this always make me believe that I should get one of those iPads too … Great work!
High End! Congratulations!
this is great!
I’d love to see a walkthrough of the making of those textures for the leatherette and the headerboard… gorgeous.
Beautiful! Amazing work
Design made by some kind of god.
Awesome app texture and style!
You simply can’t fit this type of stuff in the smaller devices, this is where the iPad shines.
OMFG,, great design
Out of this world… Awesome!
…and a little envy.
that´s really hot !! good job !
Excellent designing going on there :)
Are we just talking about graphic design or design as a whole including interface design (more important)? If the interface design is bad then it’s unusable and the graphic design means nothing. Good looks gets you to try the thing and good sounds (in this case) and work flow gets you to buy the thing. If I have to rotate a dial to get to different pages of functionality I’d be annoyed. So nice graphic design but it’s lipstick on a chicken if you ask me. What impresses me more is when graphic design implies the functionality. Not so difficult for a synth. But I don’t even see a wave form here!
Waaaauw! The feel and texture in this app is absolutely amazing! I wanna touch it!
Wow, great work!!!!
Great artistic detail, meticulous attention to texture and light almost gives it the tactility of the real thing.
Someone back the man to build the thing and then the user experience can be crafted to the same level of perfection! ;)
flawless and pure awesomeness…
What’s the name of the app?
damn slick design! Good job guys!
@Rob, check the second pic, 2 oscillators with some pretty sleek looking waveform selectors..
It’s beautiful…but honestly? If the new hotness in touch interface is to reproduce analog designs, what’s the point? This isn’t design — it’s production — with nice polish.
The scale of analog equipment faces was directly related to the wiring required to make the magic happen. It was a physical limitation.
I agree it looks nice. But definitely NOT a step forward for design.
How does it sound?
Looks like there isn’t a landscape mode, but for iPad it’s a good idea (per iOS Human Interface Guidelines).
gorgeous!!! i would mount this on the wall in media room for this app alone. just stunning.
Is it meant to be called Syntheseizer (sic)?
You f’ing nailed it. Most beautiful iPad app I’ve seen by far.
Great photography too.
Why the additional e in Syntheseizer?
Where can I download this?
I’m in love
That does look sweet. The best looking music app I’ve seen on the iPad.
oooooohhh! I’ll have a bit of that!!
It says “syntheseizer” there, it’s supposed to be “synthesizer”.
I’m so in love with it
Every shot makes it look unique and look very separate. Just the picture alone makes me want to get one of those ipads
it’s an amazing art work
Wow – when is the app out at the App Store?
THIS IS SO COOL. Have been scouring the internet for some fresh inspiration. This is it.
Simply delicious interface design; awesome textures you could touch it (almost) another one reason to get an iPad. It´s really insane my geek apple desire…
This is pointless skeuomorphism at its worst.
WTF does the vacuum tube do? It looks like pointless decoration to me. And really, you actually have to connect stuff with jacks, like a physical analog synth?
All your attempts to make the synth look retro only enforce physical limitations of old synthesizers that aren’t present in software synths. And stuff like the vacuum tube distracts the user with worthless eye candy.
This design is terrible and you should be ashamed for making it.
rodney mullen photos,
Incredible textures and realism!
It looks so realistic. My favorite moment is the lights from the bulbs at the dashboard
Super clean and awesome!!!
