Let’s start a discussion:
What do you think about these works?
Jonas Kamber10:28
Really good, i like the illutrations and the message. Is it Waterink?
Distel11:21
Very good illustrations. My favorite is the second from bottom. Big impact!
Richard Golding11:46
Shot of the barbers, if that is a mirror then a slight error in the reflection with the non reversed text on poster. Nice work though!
Carl Sanders14:10
Excellent graphics!!!!!

cool illustrations! i wonder if the third one was an exploration leading up to the second from the last. huge impact! like how you could see the dead soldier’s ring…so he’s family man. mourning soldier’s lost a friend…the family’s lost a father. very powerful composition. i think the third image could’ve been a little more powerful if he worked the poses more…there’s so much expression in the faces, but the poses aren’t there yet. great work danny!

needs more death

I don’t really like this illustrations, the style is lousy and they don’t show the cruelty of war. Although there are pictures of death, they just don’t seem real, more like childish drawings and the death is only present because it kinda looks cool.
KajikaFor war illustrations, it needs more feeling for the situation.

amazing illustrations. please disregard Kajika ^. The guy obviously has no soul because these are very powerful. Love your style too. Keep it up.

I am a retired Marine and I think these are amazing works. I especially like the Marine mourning his buddy. You have truly captured something that a photograph never could. I love the somewhat surreal nature, yet minute detail. I think it is how many servicemen see there experiences in their memories, and dreams. Please keep creating such wonderful works. Thank you.

awesome

Some of these really vibe with Norm Rockwell’s work. Especially the facial expressions in the 3rd and 4th from the top.
