Looks like a cross between a Nissan Z and a new Mustang. Not right for an Audi, but it’s a creative design.

the ass end looks entirely out of place with with rest of the car, it is the kind of after thought one would expect from American made vehicles…

for all the ppl here who don’t pay attention to the designs of cars, new and old. this concept is a modern version of the original audi quattro designed by Ferdnand Karl Piech in 1972. i think it is wonderful that audi is going back to this old style of design, and potentially bringing back the quattro, the car that turned audi around, from a mediocre car to a technologic advanced luxury performance vehicle.

I don’t think that half the people commenting even know that the Quattro is a model they made from 80-91′ (hence it having 80′s stayling) I personally love the overall shape(reminds me a lot of my Corrado), not a fan of the silly hood scoop though.

The front end looks good, but then when you get to the back they must have been like “okay we like the new american charger look” and that is it.

This car is dirty (in a good way). I can’t stand the TT and although this car definitely took some styling from the GT-R, it’s the perfect combination of sport and class.

The design by itself is pretty awesome but, an Audi wouldn’t have razor sharp swooping straight lines. An Audi would look a little rounder, curvaceous to be precise.

Verdict: Lovely concept, wrong brand.

This definitely it looking a lot like the new lexus LFA. Its got the same direct air intake in the hood, specially tailored mirrors, and retractable spoiler. Seems like audi needs to play catchup a bit. Good design though.

That is a unbelievable car, look like the newest Audi mixed with the new Camaro & new challenger. What i would give to have or even drive that.

Looks like an A3 mixed with an Evo X.

Future design is based on simplicity. But not only are they focused on simple line and shape, they’re pulling inspiration from vintage Audi models. All those who are saying this doesn’t look like an Audi should really study Audi’s history before making such a stupid statement.

It really does remind me of a corrado. I loved the look of those cars, though, so I’m digging this design. I don’t understand the hood scoop, is it supposed to be for a top mounted intercooler like on the sti?

As for the grille, it’s a little on the big side, but it’s alright. The audi symbol should be in the grille, not the hood.

Put an rs4 engine in this thing and I’d seriously consider buying it

While it does indeed look like the corrado, I would have to say it really looks more like the last model of the coupe quattro that came out in the early 90′s, America saw the Inline 5 coupe quattro while Europe got that, plus the inline five 20 valve turbo in the S2, my favortie audi ever, 217 bhp,

First glance I liked it.. not sure why. Then I remembered my childhood dreaam car – the vr6 Corrado.. Then looking closer some hints of a Nissan Skyline GTR.. so yes, I like it alot. My 2 favorite cars combined…

When I drive a car, I am absolutely–and I mean ABSOLUTELY, unconcerned with the exterior appearance. I am looking for a condition of comfort, convenience, mileage, and reduction in required maintenance.

Humans are far too vain, thinking the car they drive must be so pretty, a reflection of their personality and a statement of their great sense of purpose and flair for the arts. Bullshit! It’s a transportation piece. I have driven serious buckets of ugliness that I highly valued regardless of what the stupid, average herd member thought.

Seriously, if what a person drives is an actual definition of who they are and portrays some great personal value, then the one that wins is the school bus driver.

Retro meets techno, love the design.

Audi (Volkswagen), is failing. This looks similar to the current generation of camaro. POS, I expect a lot more from the Germans, but unfortunately the accountants seem to have gotten a hold of the reigns. VW is headed for the same fate as Toyota, GM, and Ford (US). Too bad, but it’s not to late; c’mon Germans, bring back the true auto inspiration!

Outdated design. Looks like something out of the 80s. Its just a clunk of metal, nothing about the car excites me except for the wheels. The grill is ugly and the back of the car is so unimaginative. The air intakes on the hood is a rip off. the rear windscreen that big is pointless since the view is anyways blocked. The interiors … boring beige.. the seats and everything is like they did a hotchpotch mix and match.

The guys at audi have got this one all wrong. So disappointed. :(

big grille looks kinda cool.. when seen coming up behind you would look pretty bad ass. rear end looks kinda retro cool in white w black.. but if you do this car in all black the rear end would look like a dated z car. i like it, it looks fun to drive. but it looks a bit too much like an infiniti.

This is great and awesome.

Big fan of the single-body design. the tight corners remind me of a Nissan Skyline GT-R, although this style seems to be taking the automotive design world by storm. GREAT looking ride and I would LOVE to see myself driving one in the near future.

I like how the car looks. Aesthetically, it’s very pleasing, the body looks amazing, the retractable wing is quite appealing and the rims stand out to be quite styled. I personally don’t like the map/road way shot near the speedometer. I think it is pointless and it would have less effect than a navigation system on the dash. The interior looks decent, somewhat dull to me, but with a navigation, I think it would really hope pull off a better interior look. I would also go as far as to say change the colors for the interior such as the leather seats. In the picture, they look really cheap.

Many of you either have never seen the original Quattro or do not realize Audi is celebrating the original Quattro with this design concept. I owned a 1985 Quattro and there were no curved lines on it except the wheelwells.

Nothing is original here folks. The designer seems to be confused about what European car should look like.

It is definitely a new look for an Audi, but I like it. I’ve always had a taste for more angular design as opposed to soft rounded designs. Someone mentioned the hood scoop, I for one like the hood scoop, not because it is necessary, but it is a nice detail that adds to the style of the front end, but isn’t obnoxious.. Overall it is a perfect balance of a angular powerful look and a soft classy look.

Beautiful car, too bad I see so many similarities in the body between several mid-market cars. To name a few, the Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette, the Infiniti 8, Subarbu Legacy wagon, and Dodge Challenger. Can’t you see it? I can!

This is exactly what I want to drive.

I like this overall look to this vehicle, the latest batch of audi’s hint BMW shaping A7 for instance has a long sweeping back reminding me of a Z series car. This looks aggressive as is often typical of Audi

Is this a sirocco? Noooooooooo Audi… please make it stop. This would have looked dated 10 years ago. The back half is fine I guess but the front end, scoop, light section is a buck roger’s disaster that cadillac would love. Did you hire one of their guys? Give him back and find a more graceful designer. Perhaps the guy that did the back half..

It has odd styling concepts. The rear is vaguely US muscle car, and the front view is Japanese rally car. Can live without the video game dash. Like the squared off version of the typical Audi grill.

1 loose the tail lights it looks like the charger too much.

2 loose the rectangular strip in the back but except for that its a perfect car.

I have to say it looks great. I hope Audi goes through with it and it performs just as amazingly as the original Quattro did in comparison to the cars of its time.

That being said, the nose looks like it was stolen off a modded Nissan GTR and it’s rear window line was jacked from a 2011 Chevy Camaro. What happened to originality?

The problem with concepts: They look awesome, interesting…..and yes I would like to have a Quatro Concept. But by the time they are rolling out off of the production line…..they are nothing like the concept! It’s a shame!

MMMM there are just a few thing this is taking/stealing design/style from. The back end is off of the new style dodge cars. The front end looks like a mash up of new or hyundai/Mazda bumper with audi headlights. From the side it looks as if they were trying to do maby flying buttress look or hatch back/wagon. The wheels are a direct rip off of combining torque thrusts with a turbine look. Many style notes taken from america / tried to make it look like germans/italians did it so it came out looking like it came from asia
