Let’s start a discussion:
What do you think about these paintings?
Jonas Kamber11:30
AMAZING! The lighting is perfect and it’s almost like your watching a photograph..
Annet12:16
The light-effects and details are wonderful
nnes12:43
find ich kitschig… erinnert mich an die posterbestellungen die man in der 3ten klasse aufgegeben hat.

how different colors comes to a naturally skin color – amazing.

it looks like he just paints over a photo in Photoshop. You can achieve this effect. Using the smudge tool and other brushes. which would explain the perfect skin tones and lighting. That said – it still takes a fair amount of skill to get it to look like a painting. but otherwise its just tracing. Do this in watercolor and my jaw will drop. Keep tryin’ tho’

I was going to say, these look digital to me – I may be wrong. Still very nice non the less!
Mark Fuller13:47
they look like pictures!!!!
martina00:48
Simply amazing. I hope they are actually painted and not “paint overs” in photoshop.
Jason13:57
there not paint overs you can tell there hand drawn in photoshop from scratch if you think this is easier then painting your wrong it takes just as much skill do draw on the screen

He’s fond of Adriana Lima and I can’t blame him! A lot of these are from well known photos of adriana. If they’re paintovers, I reckon it’s a lot easier than really painting. The whole ‘undo’ thing is dead handy!
Hugh Sweeney05:36
Fucking great!! Beautyfuck!!!!
TAvo 4812:44
Simply awesome, the detail is spot on. Lima made more beautiful….

“Painting over” is not easier than painting from the top of your head. And digital painting is actually harder than actual painting because of the learning curve. So get your facts straight before you start judging pieces of art that are clearly well done and obviously took hours if not days to complete.
There’s “undo” in real painting too — it’s called “painting on top of your mistake”.
