but the fact that these images provoke discussions is a good thing, he’s being bold for a reason. He’s managed to create dirty images with a new sense of style. it’s not outright, blatant images. If it were actual penises then it would just be porn.

he’s done a clever job in making them dirty yet innocent at the same time. I probably don’t make sense to some people, but this is art. think outside the box.

However, for all the ones who think that isn’t art, look at “L’Origine du Monde” by Gustave Courbet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L‘Origine_du_monde)which, in his own time, shocked a lot of people, whereas it was the truth.

The first piece was obviously a reference to porn, not rape. However, I do think it’s unfortunate that some people find erotic pleasure from seeing a woman uncomfortable during sexual acts (whether it be crying or worse). I agree with “no name” on 10/7/10 and “Clus” on 9/11/10. These are unexceptional hipster sketches of hot babes, not some subversive statement on sexuality. And for “Lusk” on 9/14/10, these are not in the slightest way comparable to Gustave Courbet’s nudes. His nudes showed women of varying body types, often enjoying themselves without having to pose and sexily pout. The point of his images was to show hw erotic the unwatched, unrestrained female body could be. And he created them at a time when nudes were heavily censored, whereas Keith is drawing cartoonishly sexy women in the age of porn and manga.
