In other words, your religion is the only religion. Beautiful imagery tarnished with intolerant ugly words.

See, here’s the thing. 1: Modern art would not be where it is now if it was not for religion. 2: It said ‘I bear witness…’ meaning, only that person feels through what they see there is only one God. Its also part of the ‘Nicean Creed’ so it is not just ‘the artist’ words. 3: People are allowed to believe what they will, for better or for worse. Who’s to say whats right and whats wrong? Lets keep creating and not nit pick this artist’s beautiful hard work. :)

I’m muslim and I don’t know why they went with this man’s version of the adzan. One of the hardest-to-listen-to renditions I’ve ever heard.

Steve, when they say “There is no God except the one God” (which in my opinion they’re overly translating — I think it should be “I bear witness that there is only one God”), that doesn’t mean that muslims believe the Christian or Jewish God is different theirs, because they don’t. It’s meant as a reminder to be wary of polytheistic religions, (again, polytheistic religions, not polytheists.) Remember that this was written ~1500 years ago.

Anyway, with that aside, the animation is beautiful. Especially that deer.
